Video tutorial · Publish your first property on Porta
1
Sign in to your account
Before creating a listing you need an active account on Porta. If you don't have one yet, sign up on the main page.
Once logged in, make sure your profile is complete — especially your name and contact number, as these will appear on your listing.
2
Access the listing form
In the top bar, click the "Post" button (blue, top-right corner). This takes you directly to the new listing form.
You can also access it from your profile → "My listings" → "New listing".
3
Select the property type and transaction
The first thing you'll see is an operation type selection: Sale or Rent. Choose the one that applies to your case.
Then select the property type: House, Apartment, Land, Commercial space, or others. This matters because it affects the fields available later on.
4
Add the location
Type the address or select the location directly on the interactive map. You can drag the pin to fine-tune the exact position.
Accurate location is key — buyers filter by area, and a correct address improves your visibility in search results.
5
Complete the property details
Fill in all relevant fields: price, built area (m²), number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and parking spaces.
In the description field, be thorough. Mention unique features, the property's condition, condo or neighborhood amenities, and any detail that helps the buyer decide.
6
Upload the photos
Click the photo area and select images from your device.
You can upload up to 35 photos per listing, regardless of your plan.
Porta accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP formats. We recommend horizontal photos with good resolution (minimum 1200×800 px).
Drag the photos to reorder them: the first image will be the cover of your listing.
7
Review and publish
Before publishing, review your property summary. Verify that the price, location, and photos are correct.
Click "Publish property". Your listing will enter review to be approved by the Porta team before it's visible to all users.
The review process usually takes a few hours. You'll receive a notification when your listing is approved and live.
