Understanding price and range filters

1
How the price range works
Porta's price filter lets you set a minimum, a maximum, or both to narrow your results.
You can enter the value manually in the text field or use the interactive slider to adjust it visually.
2
Prices in dollars and colones
Porta shows prices in the currency the listing was published in, but you can see the conversion instantly with the currency selector.
The exchange rate is updated regularly. If you filter by price in colones, dollar listings are converted for comparison.
If the seller listed in dollars and you filter in colones, the property still appears in results — conversion is automatic.
3
Use the slider to explore ranges
The price slider gives you a visual view of the available range within the current results.
Drag the ends to reduce or expand the range without needing to type exact numbers.
4
Tips for searches with a flexible budget
If you leave the minimum empty, you'll see all properties up to your maximum price — including the most affordable ones.
If you leave the maximum empty, you'll see everything from your minimum upward. Useful if you're looking for properties above a certain value as a quality benchmark.
A very narrow range can leave you with no results in areas with few properties. Widen the range by ±10% to see more options.
